Building Nimbus: notes that keep up with you

Nimbus began as an internal hack. We were drowning in notes spread across five apps, none of them talking to each other. So we built something that would.

The core idea

Most note apps make you do the filing. Folders, tags, backlinks — all manual, all friction. Nimbus flips it: you capture, and it connects.

The best organization is the kind you never have to think about.

Behind the scenes, Nimbus reads what you write and quietly proposes links to related thoughts. Accept them or ignore them — either way, capture stays a single keystroke.

What's next

We're working on shared spaces, so a team's thinking can compound the same way an individual's does. Beta invites go out this summer.
